I am happy to endorse Libby Urner Wennstrom to serve on our city council. Why?
Without bringing attention to herself she gets things done. I will mention a fraction of what she has already accomplished and how she cares for our community.
Did you know that she administered the face-mask challenge in which thousands of face masks were made and given to local students?
Or did you know that the costumes for Shakespeare in the Park were made and designed by Libby? She was an organizer for the womens’ march, and a founder of the Indivisibles; another organization that gets things done for Port Townsend.
As vice chair of the local Democrats, she has demonstrated the technical and social skills necessary for effective management in a complex organization.
Our town faces multiple challenges which require a practical, reliable, and experienced council. Libby will bring proven talent to address our most pressing needs.
