As a community member and parent of two students in the Chimacum School district, I strongly urge a vote of “YES” for the Renewal Capital Projects Levy in August.
The students in our Chimacum schools have high quality educators--now it is our turn to provide our students with the facilities they need.
This renewal levy replaces the 2012 capital and technology levy. It is not a new tax, and it is not a bond.
This levy will be used to make facility improvements, focusing on safety and maintaining the best spaces in the district. The positive impact on students of the previous levy that this replaces has been tremendous, and we must continue the forward momentum.
We can continue to give our children the best possible education and opportunities, and encourage them to become community leaders going forward.
Vote “Yes” on the August levy.
