The Northwest Maritime Center is hosting a virtual Bell Toll ceremony at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept.12.
Tune in to the Wooden Boat Foundation’s Facebook page to join the online ceremony honoring the mariners and community members lost over the past year.
The ceremony will be led by renowned sailmaker and mariner Carol Hasse, who will read the names of those who have crossed the bar.
The bell will ring eight times, to mark the end of the departed’s watch on this world.
To add a loved one’s name to the list that will be read during the ceremony, email len@nwmaritime.org.
