The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Jefferson County grew by two Friday to 343 total infections since the start of the pandemic.
Public health officials announced two new cases March 19; both were females under the age of 20.
One was a mid-county resident, and the other lives in south county.
Health officials reported Friday that seven residents remain in isolation.
Twenty-two Jefferson county residents were still awaiting COVID-19 test results Friday.
According to Jefferson County Public Health, a total of 20,275 tests have been administered for the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, and 19,910 tests have come back negative.
Through Friday, 155 COVID cases have been found in Port Townsend residents; 152 in mid-county residents; and 36 in south county (Quilcene, Brinnon, and West Jefferson).
Based on gender, 174 males have tested positive for COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic in Jefferson County, and 169 females have tested positive.
A total of 25 residents have been hospitalized for the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, and two deaths have been linked to COVID-19.
County health officials reported that 333 people have recovered from COVID-19.
People are considered "recovered" at 28 days from the onset of symptoms if they are alive and not hospitalized, according to the state Department of Health.
