Turnout in Jefferson County in the 2020 Primary Election has surpassed the 25 percent mark.
A total of 6,892 ballots have been received for processing by the Jefferson County Elections Division, elections staff reported late Wednesday, and 6,794 have been accepted.
Jefferson County currently has 26,463 active voters.
With Wednesday's ballots, turnout has been estimated at 26 percent.
