Victorian-dressed clarinet ensemble Toot Sweet performs “Storytelling-inspired Music” at a Candlelight Concert set for 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 22 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 609 Taylor St.
The concert features music from different eras and countries, including selections from Grieg's "Peer Gynt Suite," Bizet's "Carmen," Gershwin's "Summertime" from "Porgy and Bess," as well as other pieces associated with storytelling.
Group members include Nancy Peterson, John Adams, Vicky Blakesley, Mark Holman and Janet Proebstel.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is by a suggested $10 donation (children admitted free) to benefit local Port Townsend organizations and Trinity’s music and historic Victorian restoration program.
