Tidal currents will cause several ferry cancellations this month, starting on Nov. 5.
The 6:45 p.m. sailing from Port Townsend and the 7:30 p.m. sailing from Coupeville on Monday have been canceled. Those times also will be canceled on Nov. 6-7.
The final sailings on Nov. 5-6 will be at 8:30 p.m. from Port Townsend and at 9:10 p.m. from Coupeville. On Nov. 7, the final sailing will be at 8:40 p.m. from Port Townsend and 9:20 p.m. from Coupeville.
On Nov. 8-9, the 8:30 p.m. sailing from Port Townsend and the 9:10 p.m. from Coupeville will be canceled.
Washington State Ferries recommended the Edmonds-Kingston and Mukilteo-Clinton ferry routes as possible alternates.
