It’s time to think spring, and beyond, and there’s plenty of inspiration to be found in the ideas and products showcased at the 2017 Home & Landscape Show. The event is set for 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 25 at Blue Heron School, 3939 San Juan Ave., in Port Townsend.

The free event is sponsored by the Jefferson County Home Builders Association.

This year the show, its second year at the school, includes 35 booths.

“Our local construction market is booming, and there are a lot of products at our show this year for people who are renovating, updating or moving into a home,” said Lizanne Coker, the association’s executive director.

The show features nine presentations, including Composting 101 by Roger Short, information on Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County, a Pruning 101 workshop by WSU Master Gardeners, project financing by 1st Security Bank and solar economics by Power Trip Energy. Patty Charnas, director of the Jefferson County Department of Community Development, discusses the Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan.

Inside the school are a wide selection of businesses, vendors, organizations and public entities offering a look at new products and self-help services. Outside the school, Wilder Auto presents a display of electric hybrid vehicles.
