Jefferson County residents can register to vote all the way up to, and including, Election Day. 

Voters must reside at their address at least 30 days prior to the election.

The deadlines for voter registration are:

Oct. 26: The deadline for new registrations and transfers received online and by mail (which includes driver’s licensing) is eight days before the election.

Nov. 3, 8 p.m. Election Day: Final deadline for in-person registrations and transfers at the Jefferson County Auditor’s Office.

To register to vote, or change your name or address, voter registration forms are available online at voter.votewa.gov, drivers licensing locations, the Jeffeson County Auditor’s Office, as well as various locations throughout the county (schools, libraries, community centers, etc.).

Voting Center: The Jefferson County Auditor’s Office is a Voting Center for the voting period of Oct. 14 through Election Day, Nov. 3.

For assistance with voter registration, voting, elections or accessibility, contact the Auditor’s Office between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (Election Day hours are 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.).

Services at the Voting Center include an accessible voting unit, ballot drop-off, replacement ballots, and voter registration.
