PT Artscape and the Northwind Art School at Fort Worden are reopening the Bunker, a free open studio for teens, hosted by local professional artists. This is a place for youth in middle school and high school to learn and create. Julie Read, Lindsey Wayland, Margie McDonald and Michele Soderstrom are among the artists giving demonstrations and encouragement. The Bunker is open 4-6 p.m. May 26 , June 9 and June 16. During summer, it'll be open 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. July 7, July 21, Aug. 4 and Aug. 18. Information can be found at NorthwindArt.org; click on Courses. Parent/guardian permission forms are required and available on that website and at the Bunker, in Building 306 at Fort Worden.
