Thank you Jefferson Healthcare!

Posted

My husband and I recently returned home from a trip to the emergency room at Jefferson Healthcare in Port Townsend. We were greeted right away by the friendly staff, taken to a room immediately and the problem (symptoms had nothing to do with the COVID-19 virus) was attended to promptly, with competence and compassion by the caring medical staff.

I noted the staff was taking all the precautions necessary for them and us to be safe from the COVID-19 virus. (We wore our masks too.)

It is my understanding that there are no COVID-19 patients at the hospital. With only 28 people testing positive and holding steady for several weeks, the citizens of Jefferson County can be proud for keeping the spread of the virus down by staying home, practicing social distancing with masks when they do go out and washing hands often.

I am grateful to the citizens of Jefferson County for caring about the well-being of others and for Jefferson Healthcare and its professional medical staff for taking such good care of its patients. We are very fortunate to have this exceptional medical facility in our county! Thank you!
