I have never swum in the PT pool.
I have never played golf on the PT golf course (or anywhere else).
I’ve never had the Coast Guard rescue me from a boat, nor have I needed a mountain rescue team to pull me off a mountain with a broken leg.
I *have* been ‘paddled’ by the EMTs, or I would not be writing this letter.
I spent 17 years in publicly funded schools, although I have no children thus no longer have a personal need for the school system.
The most important building in a town is the public library as it has information for free. I am happy to pay taxes for all of these necessities, as they are the dues required to make a community rich and diverse for the benefit of us all.
The freeways aren’t free, my friends.
