Susan I. Fenley passed away at Life Care Center, July 11, 2019, after a lengthy illness at the age of 74.

She was born on August 7, 1944, in San Diego to Harry and Lucile Johnson. She moved with her family to Whittier, California.

Later in life she held several bookkeeping jobs in the Orange County area before moving to Vista, California with her husband. Susan and her husband started a small concrete and block business for 3 years there before moving to Port Townsend, in December 1976, after purchasing the well known Victorian Stockland House at F and Tyler.

During the 25 years picking away at restoring that house Susan held several accounting jobs including at Seton Construction Co. and the Jefferson County Public Works Department at the courthouse.

Susan loved cooking, gardening and traversing the various sand dunes in our dune buggies.

For a short time she had a small bakery on Water St. called The Hunny Pot. She and Richard purchased an outdoor power equipment business in 1986 and she was always the better half of this venture. She could sometimes be spotted driving her prized gold colored Corvette to and from work.

She is survived by Richard, her husband of 48 years, a brother Jon, sister Janet, nephew Eric, and nieces Janelle and Kristin.
