A winter weather advisory will be in effect for Port Townsend and the Strait of Juan de Fuca lowlands from 1 p.m. Tuesday through 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The National Weather Service in Seattle issued the advisory at 3:25 a.m. Tuesday.
Snow is expected in the region, with accumulations of 1 to 4 inches.
Forecasters said travelers should plan on "very difficult travel."
