Lorna Smith has a wealth of experience with issues facing us here in Jefferson County.
She is an avid environmentalist with a degree in environmental science and has won awards for her role in establishing Protection Island as a wildlife refuge.
While living in Snohomish County, she served as supervisor of environmental and land use planning, finding the best sites for development while using her vast knowledge to protect the fragile environment. Lorna has also served on the Washington State Economic Development Board.
Jefferson County needs her perfect combination of skills to face the twin challenges: environmental protection plus thoughtful development.
In addition, Lorna is a warm, friendly, caring, and considerate person. She will listen carefully to your concerns and, if she doesn’t know the answer to your question, she will doggedly search until she finds it. She will be an excellent advocate for all the residents of Jefferson County.
Please support Lorna Smith for county commissioner!
