I read the “Stolen signs” letter to the editor by Howard McAlpine. It’s an awful thing when people steal campaign signs whether Democrat or Republican. I have had Trump signs stolen and defaced. One was stolen three weeks ago. My second sign is on a high pole and can’t be reached.
In 2020, I had a small Trump sign stolen and the large one on my barn defaced with profanity. The person that did that had to climb over a gate and electric wire to get to the sign. There was also a no trespassing sign that did not make a difference to them. So I say to Howard, “You are not the only one who has had signs taken.” Your last comment referred to a Trump sign and asked, “Who in their right mind would want one.”
That was not a nice thing to say. Was it?
