My understanding is that the Point Wilson light is again in full 24-hours per day traditional operation, and the Coast Guard has removed the replacement mechanisms from the outside of the lighthouse structure. Has the Leader published a story on this, or did I miss it? Given the iconic nature of the lighthouse, its return to full operation should be headline news in Port Townsend.
