It is with overwhelming sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son, brother, family member, and friend, Ryan James Caldwell, 21, of Nordland, Washington. Ryan passed away on June 24, 2021, at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
Ryan was born to James and Katherine (Witt) Caldwell in Bremerton, Washington on Feb. 4, 2000.
Although only 21 at the time of his death, Ryan affected many people in his lifetime. He was a very genuine, kind, compassionate, hard-working, generous, sensitive, dependable, and empathetic person. Ryan was a true middle child; the goofy and daring type. Ryan was always ready for a challenge. Ryan loved to wrestle (earning college scholarships) and working out. Ryan loved anything outdoors, especially in the mountains. Ryan loved having deep and meaningful conversations and was always ready to stand up for those who were being mistreated. He had an infectious smile and laugh. Many of Ryan’s friends have called him their best friend. Ryan loved his family, friends and Jesus.
Ryan leaves behind his father and mother, James and Katherine Caldwell; his older sister, Autumn; his younger brother, Kyle; his grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends. Those that knew Ryan, even for a short time, lost a ray of sunshine.
