Robert Andrew Jackson passed away November 21 2019, peacefully at home after a battle with cancer. He was born September 3 1937 to Anna Wolfe and Calvin Jackson in Allentown, New Jersey. The family soon moved to San Luis Obispo, California where Rob attended primary school. The family then relocated to Los Angeles where Rob attended Hollywood High and watched Disneyland being built. Rob enlisted in the U.S. Navy and soon transferred to the U.S. Marine Corps. He served overseas in Japan, and the Philippines. After his discharge, he worked in construction as a carpenter and contractor. Rob relocated to Port Townsend, Washington and became the owner/operator of the Hastings House/Old Consulate Inn B&B. After selling the B&B, he married Mavis Cerna, in August they celebrated nineteen wonderful years of marriage. Rob is survived by his wife Mavis, his son Raymond Jackson, step children Juliene Cerna-Vella (Jeff), Joseph Cerna (Ruth), Christopher Cerna (Dana Davy), David Cerna (Angela),12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter Rebecca Cerna.

A celebration of life was held on December 15, 2019 at the home of Mavis and Rob Jackson with a military ceremony.
