Richard Bryce Bannon

On the morning of June 25, 2017, Bryce was found passed away in his sleep from cardiovascular disease in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Bryce was 71 years old.

Bryce was born in Tacoma, Washington on September 4, 1945. Growing up, he was very close to his older sister, Julie Anne Bannon Freeman. Bryce graduated from The University of Puget Sound with a bachelors in Arts in May of 1974. 

Bryce served in the US Navy as a Dentalman during the Vietnam War. 

Bryce served as a reserve police officer on Indian Island, WA. Bryce owned and operated The Silent Brush, art school in Chimacum, WA. Bryce owned his own business as a Master Chaircainer in Sarasota and New Smyrna Beach, FL .

Bryce was an art enthusiast his entire life. Bryce enjoyed sketching pictures of his children at play, studying history, reading, and collecting war memorabilia.

Bryce’s favorite Bible verse was Matthew 19:26 “Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Bryce was preceded in death by his parents, Esther Petit and Richard Thomas Bannon.

Bryce is survived by his wife Patricia Bannon; his siblings: Julie Anne Bannon Freeman and Thomas Bannon; his children: Shawn Alan Bannon, Tyra Hope Alford, Dakota Lauren Dawson, Dominic Kristen Bannon, Elizabeth Esther Germaine Kirscher, James Wayne Dyer, Craig Patrick Dyer, Mary Cassandra Wallace, and Rosemary Amber Bannon. And by his twenty-seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Bryce’s memory will live on in the many hearts of his friends and family.

A memorial will be held on August 13, 2017 from 1:00-4:00pm at HJ Carroll Park, 9884 SR HWY 19 Chimacum, WA 98325.
