With summertime just a short distance away, registration is open for musical students entering fifth grade through 12th grade to take part in YEA Music! Summer Camp.
Two summer camps will be offered; the first will be at the Swan School from Monday, July 18 through Friday, July 22 while the other will be at Blue Heron Middle School from Monday, Aug. 8 through Friday,
Aug. 12.
Beginner-level to advanced-level music students are invited to learn valuable skills and improve their playing in a fun summer camp with high-level music instructors.
Music classes and ensembles such as fiddle groups, jazz/pep bands, chamber groups, and more are offered for young artists to improve, and beginner classes on several instruments are offered at the camp, as well.
Camps are based on a “pay-what-you-can” model ($10 per day suggestion, but nobody will be turned away) and space is limited.
Interested parties can learn more and register for the YEA Music! Summer Camp at www.yeamusic.org.
