Create your own sweet (or savory) structure from anything that can be eaten, take a photo, and submit it for judging as part of the Jefferson County Library’s “Homes for the Holidays” virtual gingerbread house contest between Monday, Nov. 30 and Sunday, Dec. 13.
Structures can be built out of anything edible and public voting will take place online between Tuesday, Dec. 15 and Friday, Dec. 20, with winners announced Sunday, Dec. 22.
Competition categories are: kids (younger than 18), adults (older than 18) and families (groups of various ages).
Event officials noted that supply kits are optional and there is no need to register in advance for contestants using their own supplies.
Entrance forms will be available Monday, Nov. 30.
