To the man who was walking his large dog on Jackson Street on Monday Morning at 8:30 am: Shame on you!
Because you were walking your dog off leash, it took off and chased a Doe and her Fawn through my garden, breaking through my fence in two places and then stood barking at the gate as the Fawn lay screaming with a piece of the fencing holding it’s head and back feet in painful positions. What did you do? Pulled apart another piece of my fencing to let your dog out and RAN.
No help, no I’m sorry — nothing, you just ran from the scene. I can’t imagine how you can live with yourself. Luckily a lovely woman stopped at my bidding and helped release the deer as the police never did show up after calling 911.
Thank you my friend, whomever you may be. You are one of the reasons why I live here. May you be surrounded by the good Karma that you share throughout eternity.
