The Quilcene Rangers are off to a speedy start in girls varsity volleyball.
The Rangers outlasted Clallam Bay in the season opener at home on Sept. 7, prevailing 3-2.
Quilcene earned another close win with a 3-2 victory at home Friday against Mary M. Knight High School.
The Rangers’ schedule, it seems, has also seen a few spikes.
The season opener, planned for
Sept. 6 against NW Yeshiva, was canceled last week.
Last Thursday’s game against Pacific Christian Academy in Quilcene was also called off.
