Purchasing fruit helps support 4-H programs

The 2017 Jefferson County 4-H Fruit Sale is taking orders for state-grown organic peaches, pears, nectarines and three varieties of apples to benefit North Olympic 4-H clubs. Deadline to order stone fruits is Aug. 1. Deadline for apples is mid-October.

This year’s fruit sale is organized by the Discovery 4-H Club in partnership with the Jefferson County 4-H Council, Clallam County 4-H Council, Clover Cut Riders 4-H Club and the Peninsula Poultry 4-H Club.

4hfruit.com. A printable order form is available for download for those who prefer to pay by check.

Pickup sites are located in Port Townsend and Port Angeles. Delivery in Jefferson County is available for $10 on the day the fruit arrives from the orchard.
