Why is it that one of the most powerful positions in the world, the U.S. presidency, can be filled by someone who does not know the Constitutation, U.S. History, world history or other intricacies of government?
In light of this presidency, it seems to me that exams should be an absolute requriement, applying also to members of the House and the Senate and those running our governemntal agencies.
In this administration, we have the EPA, which more adequately could be renamed the Environmental Destruction Agency, headed by someone who doesn’t believe in the principals of the department, adn the Department of Education headed by one who is an advocate of private, not public, education.
In addition, is it any wonder that convicted felons can run for seats of Congress? If anyting positive could come out of this Trump “presidency,” perhaps some changes around these issues will eventually be made.
