Port Townsend Gallery announces featured artists

Pamela Browning and Bonnie Broders are Port Townsend Gallery’s featured Artists for March.

A creator of paper-based collages, Browning is excited by the many ways paper can be manipulated – fold it, tear it, cut it, wrinkle it. She has spent three decades working in fiber art. Browning’s most recent three-dimensional piece, “Temple Grounds,” incorporates paper in its multiple forms from perforated piano paper and hand-made paper to toilet paper rolls and paper packing materials.

Broders began producing stained-glass windows more than 30 years ago and now has 35 windows and stained-glass pieces in her house. She has also been commissioned for several walls in mosaic glass.

Broders’ art pieces includes fused-glass plates, bowls, and glass art in the Port Townsend Gallery’s new exhibition.
