On the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 10, it was announced that the PT/Coupeville ferry would return to service by mid-afternoon.
The route was declared out of service until further notice due to mechanical issues with the M/V Salish on Tuesday, Aug. 9.
Reservation holders were advised by the Washington State Department of Transportation to take alternate routes including Edmonds/Kingston and Mukilteo/Clinton.
No-show fees were waived for both days.
