About 150 people turned out for a community portrait on a rainy and wet Saturday, May 31, at the historic Post Office Building. The Port Townsend Main Street Program puts on the portrait session every few years, usually pulling in several hundred people. This year rain hampered turnout for the photo, taken by photographer David Conklin. Magically, the rain stopped 10 minutes before the shutter was snapped at 2:00 p.m. sharp.
