Peninsula College has announced that COVID vaccinations are not needed for students to attend in-person classes.

The college said it is no longer requiring students to be vaccinated, or have an exemption, to attend in-person classes on its campuses, as of Sept. 12.

The institution also offers hybrid and online classes for students.

The fall quarter is quickly approaching, and Peninsula College will host a “Step Into Fall” enrollment event starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 in the Student Services Building.

Program representatives will help students with enrollment, including applying, financial aid, placing and testing, and more. Visitors will receive one-on-one help, according to the college.

“A whole team is here to help all students figure out how to pay for college, what classes to take, and how to take advantage of everything the college has to offer that makes student life on campus a positive experience,” said Peninsula College president Suzy Ames.

“Our community needs an educated workforce, and we are thrilled to offer face-to-face, hybrid, and online classes for our students to help meet that need,” she said.

“Fall quarter is such an exciting time on a college campus. Students and faculty arrive with fresh energy and goals. We’re so glad to have everyone back,” Ames added.
