Pauline Morgan, local jam-maker and artist passed away at her home on June 8th, 2019, aged 75. Pauline succumbed to lung cancer, following a bravely fought battle. Much loved by her friends and family, Pauline’s passion and energy will be missed by all who had the opportunity to meet her.

Born in Liverpool, April 3rd, 1944, Pauline was raised in Dr. Barnado’s Homes, before she moved to London to attend Hornsey Royal College of Art. Pauline was married for 16 years to Philip Morgan, with whom she had a son, Simon Morgan. Pauline’s career was varied, including graphic design, modeling for Twiggy’s, working for the aerospace industry and owning a video film rental business.

After emigrating to the U.S., Pauline worked for the British Embassy in press, public affairs and trade promotion. Pauline’s retirement brought her to Port Townsend, where she was kindly welcomed by the community. Pauline’s love of cooking and community, evolved into the development of a jam making business, Morganics. Many enjoyed the jams and marmalades she sold at the Farmers’ Market and local stores.

Pauline is survived by her sister Sylvia Bradley, her son and daughter in law, Simon and Tara Morgan, and her granddaughters Siena and Sophia. The family wish to the thank the Port Townsend community for their generous spirit and love that they shared with Pauline, she was grateful to spend the time that she did among her friends. Announcements for a Celebration of Life ceremony will be made during the summer.
