OlyCAP will host an open house for the public to see and comment on artist proposals for works to be added to the new 7th Haven apartment development in Port Townsend.
The event is planned for 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 1, at the OlyCAP conference room at 713 West Park Ave. in the business park near the Goodwill store.
Artwork will be installed to exterior building elements at the entries on 7th and Hendricks streets as well as the lower garage walls next to the QFC shopping center parking lot.
Six artists have been selected from 36 submissions that came in after a call for artists was issued in May. From these conceptual designs, OlyCAP said two finalists will be selected to complete and install their works.
The selection panel includes an OlyCAP board member, Northwind Art staff, a local artist/educator, and a member of the Port Townsend Arts Commission.
