"Oh... Babies.... How ca-uu-ute!"

Posted

I don't go looking for cute videos of cats and/or dogs on the internet; though, if Trish is on the laptop, laughing, I have to know what it is.

She does seem to laugh louder when I'm out of the room. Whatever shows she's watching when I go to bed are just, apparently, way more outrageously funny than the ones we had watched together.

Cats. Dogs. Videos. We do have cats, used to have dogs; but ours don't seem to do anything really video-worthy, unless meowing for food counts. And then one would have to decipher what the particular meow means. No, not really. Snickerdoodle Apollo Ohno (Snicky for short), just gave me a one syllable meow. "Food." If he adds to it, it'll be, "Food, fool. Now!"

Our other cat, Angelina Jolie (and, like Snicky's name, Trish has a longer version for special occasions), will sometimes block our path, as if leading us to where she thinks we should be going, not hurrying at all. Cute? Bothersome. She seldom ventures to our bedroom in the back of the house, but, sometimes, and usually around 6ish in the morning, she'll sing.

Maybe it's not off-key in her language. Yeah, we'll have to record it some time. And, yeah, this is yet another great cartoon that didn't make it into the "New Yorker." Me-owwwwww!
