Steven Drew Sewell lost his battle with cancer and died peacefully with his wife Rowena at his side on Feb. 11, 2019.
He was born in Port Townsend to Gordon and Marie Sewell on April 12, 1969.
He graduated from Port Townsend High in 1987 where he became a Golden Gloves champion and Eagle Scout, he joined the Navy and traveled the world to many different countries, he was in for 20+ years.
He served aboard the USS Lockwood, USS Camden, USS Truxtun and USS Nimitz and was deployed overseas several times. His rank was E7 Chief Petty Officer First Class when he retired.
He is preceded in death by his father Gordon Sewell, surviving him are his wife Rowena and four children, Emily, Josh, Justin and Rosemarie, his mother Gladys and 5 sisters. Rhea, his twin sister Deanna, Donita, Tammy and Patricia.
