Vietnam Vet Infantry and 17th Air Calvary door gunner. Loved to hunt, fish, camp and garden. “Painter Steve” was a house painter here for 20 years. He was always there to help as soon as someone called! Very loved by wife Leota, children Tony, Melissa, and Lisa. Also loved by his 9 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his father Ivan, mother Virginia and sister Sandy. Loved by his two brothers, Ivan and Dale, three sisters Tricia, Debra, and Kim. Celebration of life to be held, July 4th, noon until after fireworks at Fort Flagler across from the lower campgrounds. Potluck picnic, all welcome!
Military burial at Mount Tahona National Cemetery in Kent Wash, August 15th, at 2 p.m.
