Patricia E. Archer

Quilcene, Wash.

Feb. 14, 1923 – March 4, 2017

Pat was born on February 14, 1923 in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. She passed away from age related causes on March 4, 2017 in Port Townsend, Wash.

Pat moved to Washington with her husband and sons in the early '50s. She worked at many places including the Port Townsend Paper Mill and as a realtor in Jefferson and Clallam counties. She worked at Costco and Walmart, both in Port Angeles and Sequim. She was a greeter in Walmart's garden center until her mid-80s.

In 1978 Patricia won the Port Townsend Fishing Derby landing a 36 pound 5 ounce salmon. She loved to fish and owned her own boat, fishing as often as she could with two of her girlfriends.

She moved to Quilcene approximately five years ago to live with her son and daughter-in-law. She often said how much she loved the people in Quilcene and how kind and helpful they were to her.

Patricia was preceded in death by both her parents, Albert and Madine Jay. She is survived by her two sons Michael (Cindy) Pollard of Quilcene and Gary Pollard of Port Angeles, Wash. as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the Quilcene Fire Department, Jefferson Healthcare Hospice and Jefferson Healthcare Hospital for the excellent care Mom received.

At Patricia's request there will be no services.
