Linda was born Linda Marie Dunn in Vancouver, Wash. on May 8, 1950 to Lois O. Dunn and Warren K. Dunn. Linda moved to Seattle after graduation and worked for a florist while putting herself through college. She came to Brinnon to house sit and found she loved the area and the people so much she chose to stay.

She lived in Alaska for several years where she learned to process loans. She worked for the Brinnon General Store, Johnson Realty and owned Settlers Real Estate until she closed the office earlier in 2016. She then went to work for Van Dorm Realty, Inc. in Olympia.

Linda was a very active community member serving on several community boards, helping at the shrimp fest, and managing Bill Marlow's campaign when he ran for County Commissioner.

Linda was preceded in death by her father Warren K. Dunn, mother Lois O. Short, and brother Frank M. Dunn. Linda is survived by her siblings Lee Dunn, Janice Vance, Teresa Jackson, Glenn Dunn, and her much loved stepson John Tudor IV.

The memorial service for Linda will be held Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017 at 2 p.m at the Brinnon Community Church, 52 Church Dr., Brinnon, Wash., 360-796-4462. Pastor Dan Kennedy will present the memorial, where friends and family can share their memories of Linda. Refreshments will follow in the Church reception area.
