Dan was born in Port Townsend Dec. 21, 1951 and passed peacefully on Apr. 3, 2017.
Dan graduated from Chimacum High School in 1970. Dan's career as a surveyor with Federal Highway Administration spanned 32 years.
Dan is survived by his wife Penny; mother Bernice Jackson; brothers Robert, David, Dennis, Jeff, and Alan; sister Denise; and uncles Gary Leavitt, Jim Jackson, Bill Jackson, Alvin Acherman and Harold McGinnis. Dan was a loving grandparent to 9 grandchildren. Dan was preceded in death by his father Robert and two brothers, Pat and Harvey Jackson.
A memorial will be held Apr. 29 at Irondale Church at 1 pm. The service will be followed by a luncheon.
