Brenda Britton, 46, loving wife, mother, daughter, friend and beloved kindergarten teacher passed away Dec. 11 surrounded by loved ones. A celebration of her life was held in Moses Lake at her elementary school. She graduated from Port Townsend High School in 1990 and WWU 1995 and recieved a master’s degree in 2006 from Walden University. She taught in Othello and later in Moses Lake. She enjoyed camping, kayaking, mushroom picking, biking, hiking, tennis and cheering on the Seahawks, but her true passion was teaching kindergarten. She was an educator for 23 years. Survivors include husband Patrick, son Hunter Britton, daughter Alyssa Dickinson, Brianna Britton, brother Brett Swigart, parents Byron Swigart, Barbara (David) Nelson, aunt and godmother Beverly Schoen, and uncle Bill (Jan) Schoen.
