Another person in Jefferson County has died from COVID-19, health officials reported late Tuesday.
The deceased, a man in his 80s, was unvaccinated with chronic health conditions, according to Jefferson County.
The number of those who have died from the disease rose to 21 Tuesday.
An additional 36 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Jefferson County Wednesday, increasing the cumulative total of confirmed cases to 1,880.
There were 274 active cases in isolation Wednesday, according to Jefferson County Public Health.
