Port Townsend’s Northwind Arts Center has reopened and returned the Artist Showcase program, with new shows slated to be offered through the remainder of the year.
The current exhibition, on display through Aug. 30, was reportedly inspired by a Claude Monet quote: “To see we must forget the name of the thing we are looking at.”
Artist Showcase 2020 is a professionally-juried exhibit space used to host curated works of premier artists, refreshed monthly throughout the year, featuring 32 artists working in a variety of media - wood, stone, paint, metal, photography, and more.
Visit www.northwindarts.org/showcase to learn more.
Exhibit viewing hours are noon to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday, or by appointment.
Northwind Arts Center is located at 701 Water St., Port Townsend.
