The Chamber of Jefferson County will host a meet-up for newcomers later this month.
The online effort is meant to “help ease the transition from nervous newcomer to plugged-in resident.”
The meet-up will be held on the Zoom videoconferencing platform from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 24.
As part of the virtual gathering, the chamber will give out swag bags with all sorts of goodies. (The gifts will be available for curbside, no-contact pick-up later on
Oct. 24, and throughout the week, for those who participated).
There is no fee to attend and no chamber membership requirements.
Registration, however, is required to obtain Zoom credentials. Register at jeffcountychamber.org or call 360-385-7869.
