Photography from Steve Deligan will be on display in May at the Bay Club in Port Ludlow.
Deligan began his exploration of photography more than 30 years ago, and soon discovered that taking photographs helped him focus on what really mattered in life.
His path has taken him from film to digital photography, and he seeks to show nature in its ideal, yet raw state.
“I try to focus on the essence of what I see and make the image as minimal as possible to create a feeling that what you’re seeing is exactly how it’s supposed to be,” Deligan explained.
Since retiring from the teaching profession, his desire to share his photography has become forefront. While much of his imagery portrays the beautiful of Pacific Northwest in all its majesty, he’s also captured Hawaii’s incredible beauty.
The Bay Club is located at 120 Spinnaker Place in Port Ludlow.
