Moon Fest is three-day celebration of music and the human spirit organized by Roger Fisher (left), the founding guitarist of the rock group Heart, and executed with the help of his brother Mike Fisher and more than a dozen volunteers. Begun in 2012, the festival takes place on 40 acres of woodland on Lake Leland. For more information on tickets and accommodations, visit moonfest2014.com.

The musical lineup includes Roger Fisher’s new band, as well as Junkyard Jane, the True Spokes, LeRoy Bell, Austin Jenckes, the Staxx Brothers and Vicci Martinez.
