I am writing to enthusiastically endorse Monica MickHager for Port Townsend City Council position No. 3.
How many times has the City Council failed to communicate until it’s too late for the citizens to have any meaningful input? I can easily think of one, the Cherry Street project. We all found out about it when the city started issuing road closure notices.
Monica MickHager wants to change the way the City Council makes decisions behind closed doors. Monica MickHager will reach out to the citizenship to involve them in the decisions of the City Council.
If you believe the City Council should be receptive to your input. If you believe City Council decisions should be made in the open. Then Monica MickHager should be your choice on the ballot. Please join me in voting for open government and Monica MickHager.
