Mary Ellen Hos suddenly left us on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021.

Mary was born July 1, 1972, here in Port Townsend, Washington, to Florence Jane (King) and Robert Francis Hos.

She was most known for being a little hardcore with her crude sense of humor but loving generosity. Mary truly lived her life through simple pleasures while slightly living life on the edge, driving nice cars, way too fast while listening to loud heavy metal, always with a purse full of candy. Hanging out at the beach and collecting beach glass, a good gossip session with friends, and loved ones.

Mary prided herself most on her beautiful children and all the bonus kids she took in along the way. Mary strived to keep up her family-owned business, Sea J’s after losing her mother shortly before her own death. Mary had an uncanny ability to connect with people on a deeper level, her outgoing personality made her so many friends along the years and she will be greatly missed every day.

Mary is survived by her seven children, Samantha Headlee Hos, Tabitha Headlee Hos, Dalton Headlee, Francesca Yackulic, Riley Yackulic, Caden Yackulic and Kohl Yackulic; and four grandchildren with one on the way; as well as one of her greatest loves Darwin Yackulic. Her sister Rhonda Hos and her four children and many grandchildren; brother Derrick Jevne and his daughter; brother Camron Jevne and his seven children; niece Alicia Hos and her two children; as well as so many others whose lives she has touched along the way. She is resting peacefully now with brother Michael Thomas Hos, sister Sherise Dawn Jevne, both parents, Florence Jane Jevne and Robert Francis Hos as well as her stepfather Richard Louis Jevne.
