Mary (Davidson) Moore passed away on March 5th, 2017, surrounded by her family, after a short battle with cancer. A celebration of her life was held in April.

Mary lived in PT for fifty years. While raising her kids, she was involved as a den mother, junior bowling coach, student support, Relay for Life volunteer, Rhody Mom, just to name a few things. Mary was respected by all who knew her. She always had a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, hugs to give. She always provided a safe place for anyone to go. Her focus was always on others, rather than herself, right to the end of her illness.

Family and friends were the most important thing to Mary. She was known for her "Rhody Parties" that were held for more than 40 years. People looked forward to seeing her and her crowd sitting at the corner supporting all the runners for the Rhody Run.

Mary was a mother to four, but a mom to all. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred and son Bruce, a brother and two sisters. She is survived by her sons and their spouses, Chuck and Sue, Terry and Ann, daughter and husband Kelley and Paul; sisters Barbara and Jackie, brother Cliff; Grandkids Jayme (David), Justin, Brandon, Lindy, Kenneth, Christy, and great-grandkids Austin, Sara, Harmony, Samuel, Emery, Jayme, Connor.

Mary's final resting place is at Laurel Grove cemetery.

A celebration of her life was held on April 1st, exactly 50 years after she moved to Port Townsend.
