Ann was well known for crafting ceramics in her home kiln, and for cruising around Port Townsend in her 1963 Corvette Stingray. After Vern’s death in 1988, Ann reconnected with her childhood friend, Carl Bone, who she married in 1989. They travelled around the US sightseeing and eventually settled in Grants Pass, Or.

Ann is preceded in death by husbands Vern and Carl, brothers Gene and Al, and her children Don Doolittle and Ginger Jacobsen.
