Mark Gregory Stroeder passed away peacefully at his home in Marysville, Washington, after a prolonged battle with what was diagnosed as Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

His father, Anthony E. Stroeder passed in 1996, and his mother Felecia A. Stroeder (Fogman) passed early in life, in 1965.

He was born in Bremerton and raised in Port Townsend, the fifth child in a family of six. He completed his education through high school and after graduation in 1978, Mark moved to Tacoma. He attended Bates Vocational Technical College for electronics and worked in the field for over 20 years.

Mark never married but is survived by his siblings; Paul Stroeder, Jane Minish, John Stroeder, Anne Level and Beth Newton. Mark was the kindest and most gentle man, who lived his life the way he wanted!

There will be a gravesite internment at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, in Port Townsend at the St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Catholic Cemetery, 4299 San Juan Ave., Port Townsend, Wash., followed by a Celebration of Life at the Hill Top Tavern.
