Make your voice heard

Who do you want to see as the next president of the United States? Whether you’re a Democrat or a Republican, your ballot, your one chance, as a voter to influence the choice of your party’s nominee was mailed a week ago.

Vote by March 10. This is your one and only chance to affect how Washington state delegates will vote at the national conventions this summer.

If you’re not registered to vote, you can do so up until Election Day. Check with the Jefferson County Auditor’s office (360-385-9117) for details.

Read the ballot insert carefully and follow directions, or your vote will not be counted. You must sign an attestation about your party preference. It does not mean you are a member of that party, and, in Washington, we do not register by party. The attestation is a matter of how you see yourself.

Although no one will know who you voted for, your choice of a Democratic or a Republican ballot will be a matter of public record.

Don’t leave the choice to other people. Make your choice. Vote by March 10!
